Job Summary: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Care Worker to join our team. This role involves assisting service users with daily activities, personal care, health monitoring, and promoting community inclusion. You will work within our organisational policies, ensuring confidentiality, and supporting service users to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support service users in their homes and community through person-centred approaches.
• Promote independence and help service users access various opportunities and experiences.
• Assist with personal care, health monitoring, and medication administration.
• Participate in service user support planning and reviews.
• Foster positive relationships with service users, their families, and the community.
• Attend and contribute to staff meetings, training sessions, and supervision meetings.
• Ensure service users are treated with dignity and respect at all times.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a care setting is preferred but not essential; training provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Relevant certification or training in care work is an advantage.
